Sensor Parameters

The ‘Sensors’ section allows configuring sensors plugged into GPS tracking devices. There are many types of input and output sensors. When configuring a sensor, please select sensor type according to the sensor you have installed on the tracking device.

Sensor can be accessed via Edit Object -> Sensors

Sensor Parameters auto-detection

GPSLive Server detects available device sensor parameters automatically, but the user should configure them manually. This allows the user to choose which sensors to monitor.

  1. Make sure all needed sensors are connected to GPS device, for example, ignition, doors, fuel, inputs and outputs.
  2. Drive your vehicle, turn on and off the ignition, open and close doors and to activate all sensors.
  3. The server will auto-learn and detect all possible sensor parameters.
  4. Detected sensor parameters will appear in “Edit object/Sensors/Sensor properties” Parameter select box.
